Here I dressed up the barest of bare bones HTML architecture for the new SFGate Autos portal that was produced with Gabriels Technology Solutions in New York. A tab navigation was in order here so I - basicaly - hacked a more streamlined / less buggy variation out of the one the new york times was featuring at the time. CSS tab navs are all over the web now - becuase they are smart and easy to update. this one was good becuase it would afford easy updating if the copy needed to change, which it inevitably does, at any time during the ramp up fr launch. The home page quicksearch is nice css widget that is easily scalable with a few tweaks of code to fit any containing dimension and the hot deals elegantly size to fit the width of the copy that they contain. all in all this was a great project where i had the opportunity to craft some nifty modular css and create a clean and accessible user interface.
